good eats

Food, food, food, and more food. I can't even begin to explain my love affair with food. I love finding new restaurants, and expanding my palate. The hardest question for me is to answer is probably, "What is your favorite food?" I literally don't have a one-word answer to that because I love food in general. Hope you guys like these pictures, and enjoy a feast for your eyes!

These pictures are from last weekend, with my mom's friend, Heyin. She is a huge foodie, and I recently helped her start a food and travel blog! Her blog is in Korean so you might not be able to read what she writes, but you can still enjoy her pictures. :)

Happy Friday everyone!

It is a happy Friday for me, indeed. Today was the last Friday of the school year, as I get out of school next Thursday. I'm so ready to be done with testing and waking up early everyday, but at the same time I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around how fast this year zoomed by. We are at that time of the year where students, and even teachers, are mentally clocked out of school-mode and itching for time to finally relax.

I am sure many of you are either done or almost done with the school year, so I wish everyone good luck on your exams. We are on the homestretch, guys!

day at the museum

Hey everyone!

Today, I spent the day soaking in all the beautiful works at an art museum. My absolute favorite art style is impressionism, but modern art is definitely growing on me. Personally, I have two left hands when it comes to drawing and painting, so it makes me appreciate the incredible artists even more for their innate talent. The building of the museum itself was a beautiful modern design, and the windows provided great lighting for taking pictures.

Seeing all the awesome art really got me inspired! I also took a bunch of pictures, which I will post soon. :)

Have a nice weekend loves!

Nude & Matte Nails

Hey everyone!

I've been seeing matte nails everywhere lately. I think it is a subtle change from the regular shiny nail polish that makes a sleek and classy statement. I went with a nude color with a matte top coat, and I love the way it blends with my skin tone.

First, apply two coats of nude nail polish and wait for it to dry completely.

Next, apply a coat of matte polish. I got the NYC matte crazy polish, and it was only $2!

So no, it's not the most drastic change, but I still think it is a nice change from the regular shiny polish. The great thing about the matte top coat is that you can apply it to any color.

thanks for stopping by!
